DOTC Sec. Abaya, wer na u?

When the commuters challenged the government officials to ride in train Senator Grace Poe rides the MRT like an ordinary passenger. But DOTC Sec. Abaya was an extraordinary personality, he was with his bodyguards. He was a very important person.

Because of this he was criticised by the public because it was obviously not pure concerns with the current situation.

CCTV can tell that when he ride the train, it was not during a rush hour and he has with many security guards. One of them was holding an umbrella for him while he is walking on the street. He was really very important person. He supposed to act as a public servant.

The difference between Sec. Abaya 's act to Sen. Grace Poe.

Senator Grace Poe rides the MRT with no bodyguard. She was in the train during rush hour.

Many felt that she has showed concern to the commuters. Because she has also experienced the sacrifice of the commuters when riding in MRT.

She knows that our train system is really a painful experience to the commuters.

She went to face annoying moments like falling in line for too long.

Also that the travel time of the train makes sick because of it's very slow pace.

For almost half and a half hour, Sen. Poe reached her destination.

With all this experience, she effortfully pushed to make a hearing on the present MRT situation.

The bill of Senator Grace Poe seeks to establish a National Transportation Safety Board that will investigate and report on various modes of travel.

Senate Resolution filed by Senator Sonny Angara aims to investigate in aid of legislation the MRT-3 incident last month and re-examine the mass-transport system for planning.

During the Senate hearing while Sec. Abaya showing no concern,  Sen. Sonny Angara told him, he should have a holistic plan not only in MRT but also to other kind of transportations.

Sec. Abaya  should redeem himself, help us to lessen the problems and be keen to improve our transportation system.

Some editorials says DOTC Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya has no concern to the public and greedy with money. Hope its not all true.
